Amer Sports Launches Public Offering of Ordinary Shares; Shares Fall After Hours

05:26 PM EST, 12/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Amer Sports ( AS ) said late Monday it launched a public offering of 34 million ordinary shares.

The company granted underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 5.1 million shares.

Amer Sports ( AS ) said it plans to use the net proceeds from the proposed offering to pay down a portion of its outstanding term loan borrowings.

Shares of Amer Sports ( AS ) were down 3.3% in after-hours trading.
