Ameren Unit Chosen to Develop Grid Reliability Project in Northern Missouri

04:08 PM EDT, 04/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ameren ( AEE ) said Wednesday that Midcontinent Independent System Operator has selected its unit, Ameren Transmission Company of Illinois, to develop a $273 million transmission project in northern Missouri.

The project will originate from a new 345-kilovolt substation that it will construct in northwest Missouri, opening new pathways for energy transmission to the region, the company said.
