08:47 AM EST, 11/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ameresco ( AMRC ) said Friday that it has begun construction on its solar project for the city of Chandler, Arizona, which will use solar photovoltaic systems in 22 municipal facilities.
The portfolio is intended to generate more than 14.5 million kilowatt-hours per year, the infrastructure company said.
Ameresco ( AMRC ) said it expects the project to offset more than 60% of the annual electricity requirements for the sites where the panels will be deployed, and estimates over $1 million in annual utility savings when completed.
Construction is slated to be completed next year.
Shares of Ameresco ( AMRC ) were down more than 1% in recent Friday premarket activity.
