10:02 AM EDT, 08/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ameresco ( AMRC ) said Wednesday it has been selected by Wasatch Integrated Waste Management District to construct and operate a renewable natural-gas plant at the Davis Landfill site in Layton, Utah.

Financial terms weren't disclosed.

The Davis facility will capture landfill gas to convert it into renewable energy resource, the company added.

Ameresco ( AMRC ) said it will design, build, and operate the new plant.
