American Airlines cuts second-quarter profit forecast

May 28 (Reuters) - American Airlines ( AAL ) on Tuesday

cut its second-quarter profit forecast.

The company now expects second-quarter adjusted earnings per

diluted share to be between $1.00 and $1.15, down from its

previous expectations of a profit between $1.15 and $1.45 per

share.
