10:39 AM EST, 12/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Plug Power ( PLUG ) said Wednesday it has installed a 5-megawatt GenEco electrolyzer system for Cleanergy Solutions Namibia's green hydrogen project.

The electrolyzer is integrated into Cleanergy's Hydrogen Dune site, which includes a 5MW solar park and a 5.9 megawatt-hour battery energy storage system to generate renewable hydrogen, the company said.

The hydrogen generated off-grid will support hydrogen-powered trucks, port and rail equipment, as well as small ships operating in the Port of Walvis Bay, the company added.
