American Airlines Group Shares Slump After Hours Following Cut in Q2 Adjusted Earnings Guidance

05:17 PM EDT, 05/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- American Airlines Group ( AAL ) shares slumped in late-hours activity on Tuesday after the company cut its earnings guidance for Q2.

Adjusted earnings per diluted share for the June quarter are now expected between $1 and $1.15, versus the company's prior forecast of $1.15 to $1.45.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $1.30.

American shares fell more than 8% in after-hours trading.
