American Water Works Q3 Earnings, Revenue Rise; Reaffirms 2024 Guidance

05:07 PM EDT, 10/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- American Water Works ( AWK ) reported late Wednesday Q3 earnings of $1.80 per diluted share, up from $1.66 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.85.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $1.32 billion, up from $1.17 billion a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.23 billion.

The company affirmed its weather-normalized 2024 EPS guidance range of $5.25 to $5.30. Analysts polled by Capital IQ are expecting $5.27.

For 2025, the company expects EPS of $5.65 to $5.75. Analysts expect $5.68.
