AMETEK Q1 Adjusted Earnings, Net Sales Rise; Issues Q2 Guidance, Updates 2026 Outlook

07:58 AM EDT, 04/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- AMETEK ( AME ) reported Q1 adjusted earnings Thursday of $1.97 per diluted share, up from $1.75 a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $1.90.

Net sales for the quarter ended March 31 were $1.93 billion, up from $1.73 billion a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.91 billion.

The company expects Q2 adjusted earnings to be between $1.96 and $2 per share. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $1.98. Sales for the quarter are expected to be up high single digits year over year.

AMETEK ( AME ) now expects full-year adjusted EPS to be between $7.94 and $8.14, compared with its previous outlook of $7.87 to $8.07. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $8.06. Full-year sales are now expected to be up high single digits, compared with previous outlook of a mid-to-high single digit increase.
