Ametek Q2 Adjusted Earnings, Sales Rise; 2025 Guidance Upgraded

07:31 AM EDT, 07/31/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ametek ( AME ) reported Q2 adjusted earnings Thursday of $1.78 per diluted share, up from $1.66 a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $1.69.

Net sales for the quarter ended June 30 were $1.78 billion, up from $1.73 billion a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.73 billion.

For Q3, the company expects adjusted EPS of $1.72 to $1.76. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $1.77.

The company expects Q3 sales to rise by mid-single digits on a percentage basis year over year.

Ametek ( AME ) said now expects 2025 adjusted EPS of $7.06 to $7.20, compared with a previous outlook guidance range of $7.02 to $7.18. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $7.07.

The company now expects full-year sales to be up mid-single digits, compared with 2024. The company had previously expected a low single-digit rise in sales.
