Amgen Expanding in North Carolina With $1 Billion New Manufacturing Site

09:20 AM EST, 12/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Amgen ( AMGN ) said Thursday it is investing $1 billion to construct a second drug substance manufacturing site in Holly Springs, North Carolina.

The latest investment will bring the company's total investment in Holly Springs to more than $1.5 billion, Amgen ( AMGN ) said.

The investments will create 370 new jobs in the region, Amgen ( AMGN ) said.
