Anfield Energy Receives Affirmative Completeness Review of its Shootaring Mill Restart Application
Jul 18, 2024 5:53 AM

08:25 AM EDT, 07/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Anfield Energy ( ANLDF ) on Thursday said it received an affirmative completeness review from Utah's Department of Environmental Quality (UDEQ) for its Shootaring Mill production restart application.

The application covers a change in mill throughput capacity to 1,000 tons per day, from 750, and a proposed increase in annual uranium production capacity to 3 million pounds from 1 million pounds.

Anfield can start the detailed technical review of the mill application to proceed, a critical step towards the restart of uranium production at Shootaring.

The company, which aims to begin vanadium production in 2026, acquired the Shootaring Canyon mill in 2015.
