APi Group Begins Public Offering of 11 Million Shares -- Stock Slips in Extended Hours

04:55 PM EDT, 04/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- APi Group ( APG ) late Tuesday said it has started a public offering of 11 million common shares, subject to market conditions.

The company also plans to provide underwriters a 30-day option to buy additional shares to cover potential overallotments.

Net proceeds will be used to fund general corporate purposes, including capital projects, working capital and possible acquisitions.

APi shares were down more than 1% in after-hours trading.
