Apollo Global Management Pledges $400 Million to New Solar Joint Venture With Summit Ridge in Illinois

08:29 AM EDT, 04/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Apollo Global Management ( APO ) said Friday that Apollo-managed funds have committed up to $400 million for a new joint venture partnership with Summit Ridge to jointly own and operate a portfolio of commercial solar assets across Illinois.

The company said Summit Ridge is a major US solar operator with over 2GW of photovoltaic projects in operation.

The investment follows a prior $175 million backing made in Summit Ridge in 2022, the company said.
