11:16 AM EDT, 08/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Houlihan Lokey ( HLI ) said Thursday it agreed to acquire advisory firm Waller Helms Advisors and expects to close the deal before Dec. 31, after regulatory approvals.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The company said 50 Waller Helms' financial professionals will join Houlihan Lokey's ( HLI ) Financial Services Group.

Shares of Houlihan Lokey ( HLI ) were up 2.4% in recent trading.
