11:37 AM EST, 02/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Apple ( AAPL ) Chief Executive Tim Cook said in a post on X that the company will launch a new product on Wednesday.

"Get ready to meet the newest member of the family," Cook said Thursday, without disclosing any details.

A 9to5Mac report said Thursday that the most likely candidate for the product launch is the new iPhone SE 4. Other possibilities include a MacBook Air with the M4 chip, an iPad Air with the M3 chip, or a new 11th generation base model iPad, the report said.

Apple ( AAPL ) didn't immediately respond to a request for comment by MT Newswires.

AAPL shares were 1.4% higher in recent trading.
