Apple Faces Elevated Wait Times for iPhone 17 Base, UBS Says
Sep 24, 2025 9:11 AM

11:54 AM EDT, 09/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Apple ( AAPL ) could see limited upside to the average selling prices of its iPhone 17 due to elevated wait times for the base model, UBS Securities said in a Tuesday note.

UBS said data from its Evidence Lab, which tracks iPhone in 30 geographies, indicated increased wait times year over year for the base model across key end markets, while demand for the other three iPhone 17 models was "relatively muted."

"We believe that the data is consistent with our view that there is upside risk to iPhone builds, driven by the iPhone 17 Base and Air variants," the report said.

UBS kept its neutral rating on Apple ( AAPL ), with a $220 price target.

Price: 252.14, Change: -2.30, Percent Change: -0.90
