Apple First to Surpass $1 Trillion in Global Brand Value, Kantar Says

08:19 AM EDT, 06/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Apple ( AAPL ) has become the first brand to exceed $1 trillion in brand value, Kantar's BrandZ said in a global ranking report Wednesday.

The iPhone maker is followed by Alphabet's (GOOG) Google ( GOOG ) at $753.5 billion, Microsoft ( MSFT ) at $712.9 billion, Amazon ( AMZN ) at $576.6 billion and McDonald's (MCD) at $221.9 billion, according to Kantar.

Meanwhile, Nvidia ( NVDA ) made it to Kantar's top 10 for the first time with $201.8 billion in brand value, Kantar said, adding that the AI chipmaker had the highest year-on-year increase of 178% in brand value.

Kantar said its ranking is based on over 4.3 million consumer interviews with about 21,000 brands from 532 categories.
