12:03 PM EDT, 05/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Aqua Metals ( AQMS ) said Friday it closed a $8.05 million public stock offering of almost 20.2 million shares at $0.39 apiece, along with related warrants at $0.01 each.

The offering included the full exercise by the underwriter of its overallotment option, and net proceeds will be used for working capital and general corporate purposes, the company said.

The funds are also expected to support a proposed $33 million secured credit facility with a large closely held company, Aqua Metals ( AQMS ) said.
