08:41 AM EDT, 03/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- ARC Resources ( AETUF ) said Tuesday that signed an agreement to supply an ExxonMobil affiliate with liquefied natural gas.
Under the terms, ExxonMobil LNG Asia Pacific will purchase all of ARC's LNG offtake from the Cedar project, estimated at about 1.5 million tonnes per annum, based on international LNG pricing.
ARC said the agreement will commence with the start of commercial operations at Cedar, which is expected in late 2028. It will continue for the term of ARC's liquefaction tolling services agreement with Cedar LNG Partners LP.
"Through this agreement, we have achieved our target of linking approximately 25% of our future natural gas production to international pricing," said Terry Anderson, ARC's president and CEO. "We are proud to partner with ExxonMobil - a global energy leader - and demonstrate the critical role that low-cost Canadian natural gas has to play in meeting the world's growing energy demand."
