Muthoot Finance witnessed a 70 percent rise in footfalls in Q2 as compared to Q1, said George Alexander Muthoot, MD of of the company in an interview to CNBC-TV18.

Speaking about the business as a financier he said that Muthoot Finance offered 46,000 COVID-19 insurance policies to customers free of cost. He added that Muthoot Finance expects a 15 percent growth in FY21 in the gold financing business and will start lending for home loans in Q3 and Q4.
