Arizona Sonoran Copper Acquires Land For Cactus Project, Completes Rezoning MainSpring Property

07:26 AM EST, 03/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Arizona Sonoran Copper Co. Inc. ( ASCUF ) said Tuesday that it secured a special land use permit allowing the company to use the surface of a 339-acre property to accommodate future mine infrastructure for its Cactus project in Arizona.

The company also it has received the land title for the 523-acre MainSpring property and has completed the rezoning of the MainSpring PAD III, located south of the property.

Arizona Sonoran said it is currently infill drilling the near surface mineralization at MainSpring, extending immediately south of the Parks/Salyer deposit.

"By rezoning and consolidating this land around Cactus, we are able to improve operational flexibility of our project," said Travis Snider, the company's vice president of external relations and sustainability.

The company lost 2.4% on Monday.
