Analysts polled by FactSet expected $2.07.

Consolidated sales for the quarter ended June 28 were $7.58 billion, up from $6.89 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $7.16 billion.

The company said it expects Q3 non-GAAP net income of $2.16 to $2.36 per diluted share on consolidated sales of $7.3 billion to $7.9 billion. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $2.51 and $7.3 billion, respectively.
