Asante Gold CEO Dave Anthony to Retire

11:04 AM EDT, 03/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Asante Gold ( ASGOF ) on Wednesday said chief executive Dave Anthony will retire effective May 15. Anthony has served as president and chief executive since March 2022.

A formal search for a new chief executive officer has been initiated. Anthony will serve in an advisory capacity for a defined transitional period after May 15, to provide continuity and support.

Asante also announced the appointment of Campbell Baird as chief operating officer. Baird, a mining executive has more than 30 years of international experience, the company said.

Asante Gold ( ASGOF ) shares are down $0.06, to $1.58 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
