02:07 PM EDT, 05/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Merck ( MRK ) and AstraZeneca ( AZN ) sued Natco Pharma and Sandoz Group on Tuesday in the US District Court for the District of New Jersey, alleging that the defendants' generic copies of the plaintiffs' cancer drug Lynparza infringe their patents.

Natco Pharma and Sandoz did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comments.
