09:07 AM EDT, 07/31/2025 (MT Newswires) -- ATCO (ACO.X.TO, ACO-Y.TO) said Thursday that its adjusted earnings increased in the second quarter.
The engineering, logistics and energy holding company posted adjusted earnings of $101 million, or $0.90 per share, climbing from $96 million, or $0.86 per share.
Earnings attributable to class I and class II shares stood at $64 million, or $0.57 per share, rising from $52 million, $0.46 per share.
ATCO said its ATCO Structures segment continued to grow its market presence through organic strategic initiatives and investment in the base business, including the addition of a new manufacturing facility in Australia.
Meanwhile, ATCO's Canadian Utilities subsidiary invested $382 million of capital expenditures in the second quarter, of which 95% was invested in regulated utilities in ATCO Energy Systems and ATCO Australia. The remaining 5% was allocated to ATCO EnPower.
