08:32 AM EDT, 09/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- AtkinsRealis Group ( SNCAF ) said on Monday that it won a 10-year contract from UK rail infrastructure owner Network Rail to upgrade and digitize the country's signaling.

Network Rail's multi-billion pound Train Control Systems Framework will upgrade signaling across its 20,000-mile network. The framework comprises digital and conventional signaling. AtkinsRealis ( SNCAF ) has been awarded two of the eight contracts across both categories, working independently on conventional signaling and partnering with Spanish company CAF to deliver digital signaling.
