Oct 30 (Reuters) - Australian pension fund Aware Super
on Thursday named Simon Warner as its new chief investment
officer, effective December 1, replacing outgoing CIO Damian
Graham.
Warner, who joined the A$205 billion ($133.2 billion) fund
in 2023 as head of portfolio management, will lead Aware Super's
160-member investment team overseeing assets across equities,
fixed income, infrastructure, property and private equity, the
fund said.
Before joining Aware Super, Warner held several senior roles
at AMP Capital, including global head of public markets and
global CIO/co-head of global equities and fixed income.
He also worked at JPMorgan Chase ( JPM ) in London, Singapore and
Sydney, including serving as CIO for Australia and New Zealand.
Aware Super, one of Australia's largest superannuation

head of international operations, based in London, after 12
years as CIO.
