Austrian gas reserves sufficient as Russia turns off tap, chancellor says

VIENNA, Nov 15 (Reuters) - Austria's large gas storage

facilities are 93% full and the country is well equipped to deal

with Russia turning off the taps as Gazprom will do on

Saturday morning, Chancellor Karl Nehammer said on Friday.

"Thus something has happened that we have long been

expecting, since the start of war against Ukraine, and we have

been preparing for this situation," Nehammer told a news

conference, adding that no home would go cold.
