Autodesk Reports Fiscal Q1 Preliminary Earnings, Revenue; Q2, FY Outlook Set; Interim CFO Named; Shares Rise After Hours

04:45 PM EDT, 05/31/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Autodesk ( ADSK ) reported preliminary fiscal Q1 non-GAAP earnings of $1.87 a share on revenue of $1.42 billion.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect EPS of $1.75 on revenue of $1.39 billion.

Following an audit committee investigation on free cash flow and non-GAAP operating margin practices, management determined there will be no restatement or adjustment of any GAAP or non-GAAP financial statements, the company said Friday in a statement. The probe covered fiscal years 2022, 2023, and 2024

In fiscal Q2, the company expects non-GAAP EPS of $1.98 to $2.04 on revenue of $1.48 billion to $1.49 billion. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect EPS of $1.97 on revenue of $1.47 billion.

In fiscal 2025, the company expects non-GAAP EPS of $7.99 to $8.21 on revenue of $5.81 to $5.96 billion. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect EPS of $8.05 on revenue of $6.04 billion.

The company appointed Elizabeth Rafael as interim chief financial officer and Deborah Clifford as chief strategy officer, effective immediately.

The company shares rose 8.1% in recent after-hours trading.
