12:59 PM EDT, 05/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Avis Budget Group ( CAR ) said Tuesday its Avis Budget Finance unit priced a private offering of 200 million euros ($216.4 million) of additional 7.25% senior notes due July 31, 2030, at 100.25% of their face value.

The unit previously issued 400 million euros of the notes under a July 2023 indenture, the company said.

The offering is expected to close May 21 with proceeds for general corporate purposes. Avis Budget Group ( CAR ) said.

The company's shares rose 2.3% in recent trading.
