09:02 AM EDT, 08/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Aya Gold & Silver ( AYASF ) said Thursday that it received US$8 million as compensation under an engineering, procurement and construction contract for the Zgounder expansion project in Morocco.

The company said the amount was under bank guarantees issued on behalf of EPC contractor Duro Felguera and its affiliates.

"Aya's ability to recover these funds reinforces the strength of its project oversight, risk mitigation, and disciplined approach to contract enforcement," the company said.
