Baker Hughes to Provide Specialty Chemicals for ExxonMobil Guyana Projects

03:52 AM EST, 02/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Baker Hughes ( BKR ) said Monday it has reached a deal to provide specialty chemicals for ExxonMobil ( XOM ) Guyana's Uaru and Whiptail offshore greenfield developments in the Stabroek Block.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Under the multi-year contract, Baker Hughes ( BKR ) will provide topsides, subsea, water injection and utility chemicals for the Errea Wittu and Jaguar floating production storage and offloading vessels, which are targeted to begin production in 2026 and 2027, respectively.
