08:06 AM EDT, 03/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Baker Hughes ( BKR ) said Monday that it has agreed to supply gas compression and power-generation equipment for ST LNG, LLC's proposed 8.4-million-tonnes-per-year LNG export terminal offshore Matagorda, Texas.
The equipment supports phase 1 of the project. That phase is designed to produce 2.1 MTPA, it added.
Baker Hughes ( BKR ) said it will provide two LM6000PF gas turbine-driven compressor trains and three NovaLT16 gas-turbine generator packages. The terminal is planned as a four-phase development, it said.
CEO Sharad Tak said the technology selection supports the target of first LNG in the second quarter of 2030.
