09:44 AM EDT, 03/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Bank of Montreal ( NRGD ) said Tuesday that it plans to introduce 24/7 tokenized cash and deposit capabilities in collaboration with CME Group ( CME ) and Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google Cloud.

The tokenized cash and deposit platform will allow institutional clients to convert dollars into a tokenized instrument using CME's permissioned network on Google Cloud Universal Ledger, Bank of Montreal ( NRGD ) said.

Tokenized cash will be available to mutual clients of CME and Bank of Montreal ( NRGD ) operating in capital markets and the commercial banking space in H2, pending regulatory approval, the bank said.
