Banks in Tamil Nadu struggle to disburse collateral-free MSME loans; here's a ground report

While Centre's decision to extend collateral-free MSME loans to 26 stressed sectors has received praise, banks are struggling to quickly and efficiently disburse these loans at the individual branch level.

Tamil Nadu government is stepping up to further ease the burden on MSMEs. It has decided to waive stamp duty that is applied to sanctioning of these loans, reports CNBC-TV18's Jude Sannith.
