04:14 PM EST, 01/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Barnes Group ( B ) said Thursday that its shareholders approved the acquisition by funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management ( APO ) .

The transaction offers Barnes' shareholders $47.50 per share in cash, according to the company.

Barnes said that 80% of the company's outstanding shares as of Dec. 6, 2024, voted in favor of the acquisition.

The company expects to close the deal before the end of Q1.
