Bassett Furniture Industries Swings to Fiscal Q2 Profit, Net Sales Increase

05:32 PM EDT, 07/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Bassett Furniture Industries ( BSET ) reported fiscal Q2 earnings late Wednesday of $0.22 per diluted share, swinging from a loss of $0.82 a year earlier.

One analyst polled by FactSet expected earnings of $0.15.

Net sales for the quarter ended May 31 were $84.3 million, up from $83.4 million a year earlier.

Two analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $82 million.

Shares of the company rose 5% in recent after-hours activity.
