Baylin Technologies' Advantech Wireless Unit Wins $8.2-Million Contract From a U.S. Defense Contractor
May 29, 2024 2:42 PM

05:22 PM EDT, 05/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Baylin Technologies ( BYLTF ) said Wednesday its Advantech Wireless Technologies unit received an $8.2 million order for its ultra-high-power Summit II Solid State Power Amplifier systems.

This order was placed by a major U.S. defense contractor for use in a NATO government specific application.

"This order represents that latest phase of a very significant program, which in its entirety requires many of these systems to be deployed over several years. Our Summit, Summit II and Summit III amplifier systems, with their soft-fail redundant architectures based on our proprietary CANBus operating system, have helped position Advantech as the 'go-to' source for very high-power SSPA systems," John Restivo, president of Advantech, said in a statement:

Baylin ( BYLTF ) is a diversified global wireless technology company. Baylin ( BYLTF ) focuses on research, design, development, manufacturing and sales of passive and active radio-frequency products, satellite communications products, and supporting services.

The company's shares closed unchanged at C$0.25 on the Toronto Stock Exchange
