Baytex Energy Reports Higher Q2 Net Income, Sales

07:25 AM EDT, 07/31/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Baytex Energy ( BTE ) reported Q2 net income of C$0.24 per diluted share from C$0.20 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected C$0.10.

Sales for the quarter ended June 30 was C$639.9 million from C$411.0 million a year earlier.

Baytex reported total Canadian production of 71,243 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d), rising from 64,167 boe/d a year ago.

The company increased its 2026 production guidance to 71,000 boe/d, citing strong well performance.
