10:26 AM EDT, 10/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Black Hills' (BKH) Arkansas natural gas utility got approval from state regulators to boost rates, effective with October billing cycles.
The new rates are intended to recover $130 million of pipeline system investments since the last general rate filing by Black Hills Energy Arkansas in 2021, the parent company said Wednesday in a statement.
The approved settlement by the Arkansas Public Service Commission sets an annual base rate revenue increase of $29.1 million and allows for a 9.85% return on equity and a capital structure of 46% equity and 54% debt, the company said.
