Black Mammoth Metals, Up 16%, Set to Start Drilling Program at Its Happy Cat property in Nevada

04:36 PM EST, 01/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Black Mammoth Metals ( LQRCF ) , which closed up 16%, said after trading on Friday it is set to begin drilling at its 100% owned Happy Cat property in Nevada in January.

The company said it received the necessary permits and approvals from the Bureau of Land Management. The drilling will cover about 1,500 meters and help the company better understand the structure of the property. The results will be used to identify key areas for further drilling.

The Happy Cat Gold property in Lander County, Nevada, covers 1,213 hectares and an area of about four square kilometers shows signs of hydrothermal alteration. The company plans to prioritize drilling in this altered area, according to the statement.

The company's shares closed up $0.15 to $1.10 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
