09:25 AM EDT, 08/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- BlackRock ( BLK ) said Monday its Global Infrastructure Partners has agreed to acquire a 49.99% interest in Eni's (E) carbon capture, utilization, and storage holding.
The partnership grants the CCUS holding to participate in potential future projects related to Eni's depleted oil and gas fields, once market conditions and approvals are in place, BlackRock ( BLK ) said.
Eni's CCUS platform currently covers the Liverpool Bay and Bacton projects in the UK, the L10 project in the Netherlands, and has the option to participate in the Ravenna CCS project in Italy, BlackRock ( BLK ) said.
The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
