Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.92.

Total revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $3.66 billion, up from $2.54 billion a year earlier.

Three analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $2.36 billion.

Blackstone's board raised its quarterly dividend to $0.86 per share from $0.82, payable Nov. 4 to shareholders of record on Oct. 28.

Blackstone shares were up 2.2% in recent premarket activity.
