Total revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $3.69 billion, up from $1.38 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $2.60 billion.

The company declared its quarterly dividend of $0.83 per share, payable May 6 to shareholders of record as of April 29.

Blackstone's shares were down 1.8% in recent Thursday premarket activity.
