08:31 AM EDT, 06/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Blue Moon Metals ( BMOOF ) on Thursday said the European Commission designated its Nussir Project, located in Northern Norway, as a Strategic Critical Raw Material Project.

The company said the commission added a total of 13 projects outside of the block to its Strategic projects list as the Critical Raw Materials Act seeks to diversify the supply of critical minerals and reduce dependence on China.

Of the 13 global projects added, only the Nussir Project is a primary copper project.

Shares of the company closed up 0.3% to $3.10 on Wednesday on the TSX Venture Exchange.
