02:09 PM EDT, 03/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing ( BA ) appointed Don Ruhmann as chief aerospace safety officer, effective immediately.
He succeeds Mike Delaney, who is retiring after almost 40 years at Boeing ( BA ).
Ruhmann will report to Chief Executive Officer Kelly Ortberg and join the executive council, Boeing ( BA ) said Friday in a statement.
Ruhmann most recently was vice president of airplane development at Boeing Commercial Airplanes.
Delaney will serve in an advisory role to assist in the transition in the next several months.
