Boeing Finalizes Japan Airlines Order for 17 737 Max Jets

12:32 PM EDT, 03/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing ( BA ) shares were edging higher Tuesday after the company said that Japan Airlines has finalized an order for 17 737-8 aircraft, nearly doubling the carrier's 737 MAX order book.

The new jets will be assigned to Japan Airlines' domestic network amid rising tourism in the country, the aerospace company said.
