July 28 (Reuters) - U.S. Federal Aviation Administration

(FAA) late last week cleared Boeing ( BA ) to begin the next phase of

its 777-9 certification - the company's largest jetliner in

production, Air Current Editor Jon Ostrower said on Monday in a

post on X, citing two people familiar with the matter.
