Boeing, Norwegian Sign Deal for 10 737-800 Aircraft

07:54 AM EST, 03/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing ( BA ) and Norwegian have signed a deal under which Norwegian will buy 10 Boeing 737-800 aircraft, the airline said Monday.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The company intends to close the deal in Q1, it said, adding that the aircraft are currently a part of its leased fleet.

The Norwegian airline said it will initially finance the transaction through its cash on hand and is in the process of obtaining long-term financing, adding that it anticipates reporting a non-recurring gain of about 570 million Norwegian kroner ($51 million).

Boeing's ( BA ) stock was up 1.4% in recent Monday premarket activity.
